Swaffham is in the record books with the biggest solar panel in UK, it is situated underneath the Ecotech turbine next to Waitrose. The 10x5 metre panel tracks the sun which can increase the amount of energy produced by 30% over a static one. Being one of only three in the UK, the generating device costs £50K. That would buy a lot of electricity, wonder how long before it pays for itself?
